8. Benedict Cumberbatch Won't Be In Star Wars: Episode VII
Well, so much for those Star Wars rumors. A few months ago Latino Review claimed that Benedict Cumberbatch would be reuniting with JJ Abrams for Star Wars: Episode VII, but the actor himself has said that's not the case. Of course, he also said time and time again that he wasn't playing Kham in Star Trek Into Darkness, but we all know how that turned out... We should take this news with a grain of salt for now, but since it's coming straight from Cumberbatch himself one could assume that it's true. So, as great as it would have been to see him make a trip to that galaxy far, far away, it unfortunately won't happen. Now, we just have to sit back and wait impatiently for any solid casting announcements, because at this point, the only characters that have been confirmed are Chewbacca and R2-D2.
