5. Tim Blake Nelson Will Play Mole Man In Fantastic Four

Despite years of production woes, it looks like Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot is actually happening, and is expected to start production any day now. The titular heroic foursome have already been cast, as well as their nemesis Dr. Doom. However, it looks like Doom won't be alone this time around, as Tim Blake Nelson has just been cast as Dr. Harvey Elder, or better known by comic aficionados as Mole Man. In the comics, Elder is an eccentric, socially awkward scientist who is shunned by humanity. He then flees underground, and later resurfaces as the leader of an army of subterranean monsters called Moloids. Yes, it's as crazy as it sounds, and apparently it will somehow fit within this new, "grounded" take on the characters. According to THR, Mole Man won't be the villain in the film, but will instead be set up for future installments. If this sounds familiar, it's because Nelson played a similar character in 2008's The Incredible Hulk. There he played Dr. Samuel Sterns, a socially awkard and eccentric scientist who becomes the Leader. Apparently Nelson won't be back for any future Hulk movies, and is instead hoping to have more luck over at 20th Century Fox.
