8 Burning Questions We Have After Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

InGen, a.k.a. International Genetics Incorporated, are the company founded by John Hammond. They created Jurassic Park, lead the raid on The Lost World, and helped finance Jurassic World. They are currently owned by the Masrani Corporation, despite the death of their founder Simon Masrani in one of those terrible helicopter-Pterosaur collisions you see in the news. They clearly still have power, since InGen Security chief Vic Hoskins (Vincent D'Onofrio) managed to take over Jurassic World and plotted with Dr Wu to create dinosaurs for military application.

In short, InGen are a huge part of the series - and they’re totally missing from Fallen Kingdom. Their name barely comes up, and despite Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell) being former partners with John Hammond the movie doesn’t say whether he’s still an owner of the company. In The Lost World and Jurassic World they were pretty much the bad guys, and their plot to weaponize dinosaurs for the army was carried on to Fallen Kingdom with the auction and the creation of the Indoraptor - and Dr Wu being there seems to indicate their involvement.

Yet InGen weren’t even name-dropped. Is Dr Wu still working for them? Are they Lockwood’s company? Did they have some representatives in the auction? Or did they simply get completely forgotten about in re-writes?
