8 Characters That Need More Screen Time In Avengers: Age Of Ultron

1. Hawkeye

Poor Hawkeye. He had the least screen time of any of the team so far, not even appearing in Phase 2 yet, with a potential appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier scrapped. His total contribution to the MCU so far has been a cameo in Thor and about fifteen minutes of The Avengers, half of which he spent under Loki's control. He's by far and away the worst-served hero so far, and has even become the butt of several jokes as a result. The thing is, he's a character rich with potential. His comic book counterpart has been at the forefront of numerous Avengers storylines, even leading the team on one or two occasions. He's a hero everyone can relate to, trying to do his best to help others even though it puts him out, fighting alongside and against beings far more powerful than he is. The movie version seems to be an interesting character from what's been seen of him, having a mysterious past mixed up with Black Widow's at some point. Fans still have no idea what happened in Budapest, after all, and why the two heroes remember it so differently. Whedon has said that Hawkeye will have a bigger role in Age Of Ultron, which is a good thing - he needs one. So, do you agree with our choices? Who do you think should get more screen time in Age Of Ultron? Are there any characters you want to see less of? Let us know in the comments, and thanks for reading.
