After turning down Speed, Stephen Baldwin signed on for this stoner comedy, ignoring his brother Alecs advice that it would be the worst thing that ever happened to him. Baldwin and Pauly Shore are two twits from Tucson who have no ambition other than to be reincarnated as leotards, so imagine the shenanigans that ensue when theyre sealed in a biosphere with five scientists (including Kylie Minogue) for a year. Well save you the trouble: they steal, destroy property, make sexist comments and, in the process, wreck their careers. Not only is this the picture that Minogue considers her worst (and she was in Street Fighter), but it was also a punchline on Family Guy and mocked in the Weird Al Yankovic song Albuquerque. Baldwin subsequently became a born again Christian and claimed that God told him to do the movie, which if true (and why would he lie?) must mean the Big Guy is a fan of stoner humour, puerile one-liners and pedestrian direction, because thats all this anti-masterpiece has to offer.
