8 Crazy Fan Theories That Actually Improve Horror Movies

3. Sorority Row Was Supposed To Star The Spice Girls

Sorta kinda but not really based on Mark Rosman€™s The House On Sorority Row (1982), the economically-titled Sorority Row dispenses with the original story in favour of a plot lifted from I Know What You Did Last Summer and gives us not one, not two but five screaming damsels in distress. There€™s a couple of brunettes (a sporty one and a poker-faced one), a blonde, a redhead and a token ethnic minority, roles that were clearly earmarked for The Spice Girls. Sound unbelievable? Don€™t forget that Spice World was released during the slasher movie€™s post-Scream renaissance period, so it€™s not asking too much to believe that the girls would€™ve been interested in starring in a follow-up movie with a built-in audience. The idea ultimately petered out (as did their recording career), but wouldn€™t it have been great to see a movie where the ultimate girl band from hell crosses the path of a psycho killer armed with a tire iron?
