8 DC Comics Characters Who Should Replace Green Lantern In Justice League

In brightest day, in blackest night... Just call The Rock instead.

We've known for a while that Green Lantern won't be making his presence felt in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it was widely believed that the character would show up by the end of Justice League Part One. However, with less than a month to go until that begins production, it's been revealed that there's a very good chance Han Jordan won't return to the big screen until 2020's Green Lantern Corps. While you can understand Warner Bros.' trepidation after the response to 2011's Green Lantern movie, leaving this founding member of the Justice League on the bench hasn't gone down well with many fans. Still, whether we like it or not, Green Lantern won't be in Justice League Part One and may not even show up in Part Two, and that obviously opens the door to another character taking that empty seventh slot on the iconic superhero team. There are many directions Zack Snyder could go, and here you will find the eight best possible replacements to take over from Green Lantern in this long overdue comic book adaptation. Some are names you may recognise, while others are a little more obscure or unexpected, but all of them have the potential to bring something special to the table as they fill the void left by Green Lantern...
