8 DC Storylines That Could Compete With Marvel's Infinity War
4. Flashpoint
Don't you wish that you could go back in time, and change one moment from your past? Barry Allen actually has the power to do exactly that, in Flashpoint. This Flash story arc is so powerful, it was used to help usher in The New 52 line of comic book continuity, changing DC's history forever.
Flashpoint deals with the butterfly effect, or the theory that small causes, have large effects. Barry's Flash decides to go back in time,to save his mother who had been killed by his rival, The Reverse Flash. Suddenly he awakens, in a completely different timeline, one in which his mother never died. The changes to the world are numerous, and have massive effects. This includes Bruce Wayne being murdered as a child, and his father Thomas Wayne becoming Batman, while a pending war between Themyscira and Atlantis, is about to begin.
DC could really have fun with this fun-house mirror version of our beloved DC Universe, and have their actors show a different side of themselves. Also, the thought of Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprising his role as Thomas Wayne aka Flashpoint Batman, is enough to have the internet explode. Bring it on Comedian.
