8 DC Storylines That Could Compete With Marvel's Infinity War
5. Under The Red Hood
Sometimes, having the more intimate story, could lead to box office success. This was true of 2017's Logan, which gave the hero a more personal plot. If DC wants to tell a more grounded story, they should look no further than Under The Red Hood, for inspiration.
Under The Red Hood, which saw the resurrection of former sidekick Jason Todd, is a dark and powerful entry into the Batman mythos. In it, we see how Batman handles the appearance of a new vigilante in Gotham, while also dealing with the skeletons of his past. Things pick up when the Dark Knight starts to notice a resemblance between the vigilante and his former Robin, who lost his life years prior, at the hands of the Joker. Batman's refusal to believe his worst fears have come true, allows for a compelling story that shows a side of Batman we have yet to see. With Red Hood being a fan favorite, DC can't go wrong going this route.
We might have already seen the breadcrumbs leading to this films production in the near future. Jason Todd's Robin costume is seen, defaced and hanging in the Bat Cave in Batman V Superman presumably in memorial.
