7. Draco Malfoy Throws Harry His Wand - Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II

Harry Potter's jerky nemesis, Draco Malfoy, is a great villain on account of how easy it is to hate him. A whiny, pathetic douche of a wizard, he's famously jealous of Harry and ultimately joins Lord Voldemort in an ill-judged attempt to impress his father.

Whilst some fans might've expected Malfoy to have a change of heart and join forces with Harry at the end of the novels, J.K. Rowling never went down that path because it wouldn't have made sense: no matter how out of his depth Draco got, for him to have suddenly made best friends with Harry... it just wouldn't have rung true.

That's why this brief moment was deleted from the final film, I suppose, which saw Draco randomly throwing Harry his wand during his epic battle with Lord Voldemort:

This makes no sense from a character perspective, of course; nothing about Harry and Draco's relationship would have inspired him to toss Harry his weapon at this point. Had it been included, the entire series would have changed dramatically and Draco would've emerged out as an unlikely, last-minute hero with a redemptive arc.

Which nobody wanted. Because Draco is an undeserving douche.
