Scarlett Johansson's legal battle with Disney was front-page news following the release of Black Widow, resulting in a public battle that was only put to bed as early as last month.

The actor alleged that she was promised a certain cut of Black Widow's box office profits and that Disney refused to give Johansson any of the money the film earned because the majority of its profit was made through its streaming site Disney+.

Technically, if you want to split hairs about it, neither side was actually in the wrong - Johansson was promised money, but from a legal standpoint Disney didn't actually owe her said money.
