8 Famous Movie Scenes That Were Hell To Film

4. The Kiss - Spider-Man

Rain-drenched Spidey's upside-down kiss with Mary Jane Watson is one of the most unforgettable scenes from the original Spider-Man trilogy, but it must have been awkward, given the effect of gravity on the human tongue and all that.

It was tricky to film, too, and once again, gravity is partly to blame. All of that water running down Tobey Maguire's face had to go somewhere and a fair portion of it trickled into the actor's nostrils. Although it looks like Spidey was enjoying himself while locking lips with MJ, the actor playing him was basically downing.

The entire time, Maguire was fighting to draw breath via Kirsten Dunst's mouth, which might not sound like torture, but in reality, the star was effectively being waterboarded.
