8 Fascinating Disney Movies That Were Never Made
7. Louis The Bear
Louis Prime was an Italian-American singer and actor who famously voiced the orangutan King Louie in Disney's animated feature The Jungle Book. He performed the hit I Wan'na Be Like You, which lead to the recording of two related albums: The Jungle Book and More Jungle Book.
Louis's performance was so popular that Disney wanted him to star in his very own film titled Louis The Bear, which would have seen the titular bear attempt to escape from a zoo alongside a band of mice.
Tragically, Prime was diagnosed with a brain tumour and subsequently entered a three-year long coma from which he died, so Louis The Bear never came to pass. In the end, the concept of the film was turned into the 1977 animated feature The Rescuers.
