2. Brainwashed By The Hand

Wolverine 3 may be an adaptation of Old Man Logan, but Fox aren't exactly known for sticking to the source material with their movues. For that reason, this story really could play out in any number of ways, and one good place to turn to for inspiration could be the comic which saw Logan become a brainwashed pawn of The Hand (though that ninja clan would obviously need to be subbed out for a group not owned by Marvel). Under their influence, he really was an out of control monster, gleefully slicing through agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and even his fellow X-Men and the Fantastic Four. An R-Rating means that this movie could effectively show us what a Wolverine without a conscience looks like, and gives the extra violence and blood which will no doubt be present a good reason for being there. Plus, a turn to the dark side for Logan would be great fun.
