8 Films That Said Being Different Is Not A Problem
4. I'm Not An Owl (Harry Potter Franchise)
Harry Potter And The (all of them) - the series of massively popular magical movies that turned gingers, muggle borns and orphans into the cool kids. There's plenty of signs in there that these witches and wizards are using their differences for personal gain. Hermione Granger really is a very bright witch for her age, despite having non-magical parents, she achieves remarkable grades in her wizarding education. Ron Weasley - ginger, one of seven children and slightly unlucky in, well, life, he still manages to get the girl that was right under his nose the whole time. Harry Potter himself - glasses wearer, orphan, lived in a cupboard, and the most famous wizard around. Oh, and he also defeats He Who Must Not Be Named (Voldemort, oops). A film that proves people, including children, who may have a variety of geeky and nerdy attributes, can be the greatest people of all, especially when it comes to magic.
