8 Heroes More Powerful Than Superman To Add To The DCEU
3. Doctor Fate
In any DC universe in which magic is prevalent - which we've already established will be the case in the DCEU - Doctor Fate really has to be there. He's every bit as well-known as his Marvel counterpart Doctor Strange and, given that Benedict Cumberbatch is set to star as Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you'd expect DC to react by casting someone as Fate soon. There are several versions of the character, but the most famous and original version is Kent Nelson (others include Hector Hall and Kent V. Nelson - Kent Nelson's grand-nephew). To assume the mantle of Doctor Fate, one must be empowered by the ancient Egyptian sorcerer Nabu the Wise. Doctor Fate is a sorcerer who fights for the force of good and he has worked with the Justice League and Justice Society of America in his various iterations. He has complete mastery over magic and is therefore incredibly powerful - even more so than Superman. He can cast countless spells, as well as being super-strong, nigh-invulnerable and able to fly, use telepathy and use telekinesis. He'd be a spectacular addition to the DCEU.
