4. Phantom Stranger

The confirmed and imminent arrival of the likes of Wonder Woman, Enchantress, Shazam and Black Adam in the DCEU confirms that the franchise is going to delve into the realm of magic. With that in mind, an abundance of supernatural and mystical characters could be added in the future - and one of them who would be awesome is the Phantom Stranger. He is a paranormal character of unknown origins - several different ones have been hinted at in the comic books, such as him being Judas Iscariot or the future son of Superman - so his emergence in the DCEU wouldn't even need to be explained. He could just appear and add some real mystique to proceedings. He has worked alongside the Justice League, the Justice League Dark and the Sentinels of Magic in the comic books and would work as part of any of those on screen. He possesses incredible powers and abilities which include enormous magical nous, actual immortality, true omniscience and reality warping. He would be a fine addition if a major mystical threat emerges in the franchise.
