8 Horror Movie Villains That Just Weren't Scary

3. The Snowman (Jack Frost)

For most people, Christmas is a time of celebration. A time to spend with loved ones. A time to spend being merry. The 1997 Christmas horror film Jack Frost (not to be confused with the 1998 family film of the same name) is decidedly missing in Christmas cheer. The film is also missing a reasonable plot, good acting and a decent villain. When a truck carrying serial killer Jack Frost crashes into a genetics truck on the way to his execution, it causes the man set for death row to mutate and become one with the snow on the ground. He comes back to life as a giant killer snowman to terrorise the man that caught him. A giant killer snowman. A. Giant. Killer. SNOWMAN. That is pretty much all you need to know about this so-bad-it's-actually-pretty-good film. The snowman is so fake-looking that it cannot be scary and the death scenes have their tongue planted firmly in their cheek. Has since gone on to become something of a minor cult classic.
