8 Horror Movies Where An Actor Dies BEFORE Their Opening Credit!

7. Rider Strong - Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever

Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever picks up shortly after the events of the first film, with barely-alive sole survivor Paul (Rider Strong) dragging himself out of a lake contaminated with a flesh-eating virus.

As such, Paul's flesh is melting off his face and body as he claws his way to dry land, and after running through the nearby forest, his skin sloughing off on the surrounding branches, he finally makes it out onto a road.

A school bus approaches in the distance, and despite Paul standing gingerly in the road in broad daylight, the driver makes no attempt whatsoever to avoid him, consequently colliding with Paul and instantly obliterating him into bloody chunks, Robocop-style.

Despite his screen time amounting to an hilariously grand total of 90 seconds, Strong still gets rather generously namedropped in the sequel's animated opening credits.

Better still, he actually receives first billing alongside the rest of the cast who, y'know, actually show up for more than a single scene. Nice.
