8 Horror Movies Where An Actor Dies BEFORE Their Opening Credit!

6. Meagan Good - One Missed Call

One Missed Call is in no way a good movie - and certainly not a good remake of the already-unremarkable 2003 Japanese original - but it at least kicks off with a brief scene featuring the lovely Meagan Good.

Good plays undergraduate Shelley Baum, who after seeing her cat meow near her koi pond, quite naturally goes to investigate, only to be pulled into the pond by a hand and drowned.

And to make it all even crueller - and, if we're being honest, funnier - Shelley's cat is then dragged in and drowned along with her.

The scene certainly doesn't do anything to take advantage of Good's natural charisma or acting talents, but still provides a perverse chuckle through its sheer silliness.

Immediately after this the credits sequence begins, with Good receiving an "and" credit at the very end. Not a bad outcome for a scene that looks like it demanded a whole 15 minutes of her day in-between running errands nearby.
