Known for: Beetlejuice (1988), Heathers (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Girl Interrupted (2001) Arrested for: Shoplifting Winona Ryder wormed her way into our hearts with a series of roles in iconic movies in the late 80s/early 90s. After some time spent out of the spotlight, Winona was arrested in December of 2001 for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of clothing from a Saks Fifth Avenue store. Luckily, she was able to avoid jail time and was sentenced to 3 years of probation; she also completed hundreds of hours of community service and had to pay back Saks Fifth Avenue for the goods she stole. After her probation ended, she threw herself back into acting and has steadily landed great roles ever since.
