8 Irresistible Film Cameos By Sportsmen

1. Mike Tyson - The Hangover

The heavyweight champion of cameos delivers a knockout comedy performance in The Hangover. Tyson stepped into the acting ring and has shown no sign of throwing in the towel, going for another round in The Hangover Part 2. Now that I€™ve exhausted my arsenal of shocking boxing puns, I€™ll get down to business. The Hangover taught me many things about Mike Tyson that I would never have known before. For instance, who€™d have guessed The Baddest Man on the Planet was a Phil Collins fan? Tyson marks the beginning of his cameo with a frankly terrible rendition of €˜In The Air Tonight€™ before delivering a mean right hook to the side of Alan€™s head. Tyson€™s performance is right on the money; he doesn€™t overplay it or let his egotistical boxing persona run wild. It goes to show that a well-placed cameo could be an inspired move and be the cherry on the cinematic cake. However, like Beckham in Goal!, it could be a woeful move and be a big messy turd on the cake. But one thing€™s for sure, whether good or bad, everyone loves a cameo.
