7. Dannii Minogue
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Dannii Minogue starred in Home and Away as teen rebel Emma Jackson. Her run on the show lasted for two hundred and eight episodes between 1989 and 1990, during which time she met her future husband, Julian McMahon.
On the show, Emma was portrayed as a rebellious soul with a tragic backstory of abuse at the hands of her stepfather.
Minogue's role on the show coincided with her sister Kylie's tole on rival soap opera Neighbours. She left the show after only a year, since her music career was taking off after the release of her debut album, "Dannii" (1990).
Since departing the show, Minogue has released six studio albums, the last of which came out in 2007. Following her music career, she established herself as a talent show judge, appearing firstly on Australia's Got Talent between 2007 and 2012, a role which coincided with a judge spot on The X-Factor UK between 2007 and 2010. She's currently a judge on The Masked Singer.
