4. Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Captain America: Civil War felt like the beginning of the end. It also felt more like an Avengers movie than a Captain America one. Not that anyone was complaining. After all, the prospect of seeing Spiderman and Ant Man joining the fray was one that sent excitement for Civil War into overdrive.
Marvel also continued its trend of having the best finale action scenes in the genre. The phenomenal airport scene managed to be everything you'd hoped for and more from a movie featuring so many favourites.
Though it's not as funny as some of the other Marvel films on this list, and at times it wears its seriousness on it's sleeve, the introduction of Paul Rudd and Tom Holland's Spiderman bring some much needed warmth and lightheartedness to the mix, ensuring it never takes its self so seriously that it looses the audience.
