8 Mind-Blowing Moments From The Hunger Games: Catching Fire New Trailer

7. "Would You Like To Be In A Real War?"

Catching Fire 8 I doubt there are many Hunger Games fans out there who don't think that Donald Sutherland was an inspired choice when it came to his casting as the arch-villain of the series and number one Katniss-hater, President Snow. And that's something that has been brilliantly emphasised by way of the voice-over that accompanies the trailer and helps to imbue this thing with some added weight, poising it as a far darker and more intimate sequel. As we glimpse a few shots of Katniss doing Katniss-y things, like climbing trees and staring at things with a broody face, we hear Snow talking directly to our heroine against a chilling musical cue: "Miss Everdeen. You fought very hard in the arena, but those were games. Would you like to be in a real war?" What does he mean, you wonder? Well, let's just say that the next round of games doesn't pit Katniss and friends against randomly selected combatants, but former Hunger Games winners (who really know what it takes to survive). "Real War" is right.
