6. Katniss Shoots The Freakin' Camera
All right, so, casting Jennifer Lawrence as resourceful badass Katniss Everdeen was probably the stroke of genius that led to the Hunger Games becoming a fully-fledged phenomenon (in movie terms, at least). A mis-casting could have brought the whole thing down into a smouldering pile of cheesy ashes, after all, but Lawrence being right there at the centre makes it all super believable. So when Katniss replies to Snow in the new trailer via in an arrow which she opts to firing into the sky at a freakin' camera she can't even properly see, we're not saying "that wouldn't happen," we're saying: "Okay, Jennifer Lawrence, what else can you do?" What's a step-up from a badass?
