1. Stan Lee Is Involved With The Watchers - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

The Theory: Stan Lee cameos are of course a staple of Marvel movies, and in recent years a theory emerged online that Lee isn't merely playing dozens of distinct, separate characters, but actually a single entity.

The theory posits that Lee is most likely a member of the Watchers and quite possibly even Uatu the Watcher himself, an alien from the comics who was tasked with observing events on Earth.

The Confirmation: Though it didn't turn out that Lee was playing Uatu, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 nevertheless saw Lee hanging out with the Watchers and discussing the time he was a Fed-Ex delivery man, a blatant reference to his Captain America: Civil War cameo. This quite obviously confirmed that his MCU cameos are all experienced by the same being.

Lee is actually credited as a "Watcher Informant" rather than being a Watcher himself, so while it's not quite a spot-on confirmation, it's close enough to be a tick in the win column for proponents of the theory.
