If you decide to cast two people as ridiculously attractive as Gina Carano and Michael Fassbender in your action movie, you'd be stupid not to take advantage of the built-in sexual tension. Unsurprisingly, that's what the makers of Haywire went for in a big way. By staging the central fight scene in a dimly-lit hotel room, we're already been primed for something decidedly sexy. Add to this the fact that a generous portion of the fight takes place on the bed, with Carano's stocking-covered legs wrapped tightly around Fassbender's head, and we're headed somewhere very wonderful indeed. It's a very confusing set of directions but the destination is pretty special. Of course, the sexiness comes to an abrupt end when (SPOILER ALERT!) Carano's character stuffs a pillow over Fassbender's face to use as a silencer when she blows his brains out.
