8 Movie Posters That Shamelessly Tried To Rip-off Batman

1. Batman & Robin

An abomination of a film that has no business ever being classified as a Batman film. It was campier than the 60s TV show, without the intelligent self-awareness, the art design was abysmal and the character and casting decisions were just plain awful. Yes we should probably be thankful for Batman & Robin because it's failures ultimately lead to Nolan taking the reigns and rebooting the property entirely, but it's still with downright embarrassment that the film is discussed by Batman fans. You can't even say it's a kitsch delight, because all of its camp elements leave bitter tastes and the whole thing feels too much like a ballet of over-blown nonsense. The poster itself is remarkable thanks to the until then never-before-seen use of smokey breasts, as sported by Alicia Silverstone in the background. Have you seen any other posters that shamelessly ripped off Batman posters, or any other posters come to that? Share your own picks below in the comments thread.
