3. Fast And Furious
I dont think even the much deluded Vin Diesel (who once said Fast Five should be an Oscar contender) thought anyone would still be talking about the car racing series in 2013, let alone celebrating a successful sixth entry in the franchise, with a seventh soon to follow. After three instalments that found a niche, director Justin Lin has managed to turn the series into something the critics are shockingly quite happy to trumpet. The element that gets Fast and Furious on this list is one of the lesser films. Tokyo Drift, the third in the series, ditched the cast of the first two, with motornamed Diesel only appearing in a continuity busting sting. The problem only arises, however, when we get to Lins entries. You see, Han Seoul-Oh (say it out loud and sigh), protagainst Seans mentor in Tokyo Drift appears in the following three films, despite most definitely dying in the third. So this makes the third film actually the last, which becomes an increasing problem as the series progresses; Han must have used some pretty revolutionary anti-aging cream when he moved to Japan. And don't even start on Letty.
