A lot of the mixed reception came from discomfort with the strange concept, as well as audiences missing out on the fact that the movie was a bit more than just a portrayal of a futuristic relationship.While the love-story between the two main characters is the central theme of the movie, Her is also a character study, a superbly crafted sci-fi film, and a probing, understated investigation into human interaction.
