5. Iron Fist
Now we're talking. Three words epitomise Danny Rand: kung-fu billionaire. A martial artist trained in a mystical city in the Himalayas, Danny Rand punched his way into the heart of a dragon in order to earn the title of Iron Fist. You don't get a better opening act than that. A solo Iron Fist story could easily adapt the recent Mortal-Kombat style story about a martial arts tournament in the mystic city of K'un L'un. However, he could also be pared up with his lifelong friend Luke Cage in their street-level (there we go) team up adventures, Heroes for Hire. A socially conscious series about the two leads and their unambiguous friendship, Heroes for Hire is a buddy-cop movie for the Marvel generation. If I thought that merited an extra entry, this would probably top my list.
