4. A Few Good Men
If I had a nickel for every time I've heard a person, film, or television show use some form of the line, "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth", well...I'd have a lot of freaking nickels. Enough nickels to maybe pay for a committee to convince the United States that we should stop producing pennies and nickels because they're basically useless and cost more to make than they're worth. Sorry, was that a tangent? Anyway, yes, Jack Nicholson is great in this film. Yes, his speech on the stand is textbook fantastic writing. Does that mean I should have to hear people drilling that line into my head like a railroad spike? No. No, I don't believe it does.
