Fans of the hit - yet still underground - sitcom Community have been waiting years for the show to deliver on this running gag, and there was a time when it seemed to be past the point of no return. The final seasons of the series were a dwindling display of quality, but fans still couldn't get enough of Greendale and these characters.

Then, a spark of hope arrived as the cast reunited for a table read during the pandemic, and Netflix started to stream the programme on their site. Suddenly, the popularity of Community was back, and Dan Harmon finally revealed (not too long ago) that the creative cogs were in motion to finally make the movie.

Harmon isn't the most experienced director, especially in the movie business, as his predominant place is on TV. But, the love felt for this comedy show would be enough to make this production process a walk in the park for him, even if it's rough around the edges.

It seems that this flick might be on the cards, so we just have to hope that Harmon lays them down.
