8 Movies These Directors Need To Make
6. Edgar Wright - Booster Gold
The movie business is full of missed opportunities, and one that sticks in the memory is Edgar Wright's Ant-Man. Sure, the MCU's version of the obscure hero was a blast, but it's still a massive shame that viewers never got to experience this visionary director's original version of the size-shifting hero. So, why not jump ship to a company that has undoubtedly learned its lesson when it comes to studio interference?
It's safe to say that after The Suicide Squad, DC will need to do something big to rake in the bucks, and bringing a brand new hero to the big screen with the right director could be a great start.
For those unfamiliar with Booster Gold, he is a time-travelling superhero who's far more concerned with his image than saving the world. He uses stolen technology from the 25th century to take part in high-profile heroics but learns to become a true hero along the way.
There's a great potential to give a social media edge to this flick, and the character's irreverent and cheesy presentation would mesh perfectly with Wright's upbeat visual style. He's already proven his comic-book credentials with Scott Pilgrim vs The World, so it's time to take on a superhero in full.
