In the same year that John Glover played €œDaniel Clamp€, the billionaire owner of the €œClamp Tower€, in Gremlins 2: The New Batch, the character€™s real-life inspiration, Donald Trump, made a cameo in a movie whose acting, writing and directing are several rungs below Joe Dante€™s classic.

In fact, Ghosts Can€™t Do It is such a thoroughly vile waste of celluloid that it received 7 Razzie nominations from which it €œwon€ 4, including Worst Picture (tied with The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane), Worst Director and Worst Actress. Trump picked up Worst Supporting Actor, and it€™s not difficult to see why €“ he is, after all, playing himself.

Briefly, the plot concerns a dead billionaire (Anthony Quinn) who returns in spirit form so that his wife (Bo Derek) can €œshop€ for a new body for his soul to inhabit. At one point, she takes a business meeting with Trump while receiving advice from her husband€™s ghost.

€œIn this room,€ Trump tells her, €œthere are knives sharp enough to cut you to the bone. And hearts cold enough to eat you as hors d€™oeuvres.€

Now isn€™t that the kind of guy you want to be President?
