8 Post-Credits Scenes Marvel Didn’t Have The Balls To Shoot

7. The Guardians Encounter Doctor Strange

A Doctor Strange movie has been in the works for some time now, and there was lot of talk of it happening long before it was officially confirmed to be a part of Phase Three, with Kevin Feige repeatedly stating he expected the Sorcerer Supreme to appear at some point in the future of the MCU.

Stephen Strange got a very passing mention in The Winter Soldier, a nice Easter egg planted there for fans who were really listening, but at that stage they knew a movie was happening, and could well have done something more.

They included the twins at the end of that film, showing that the mythos of the universe was being expanded, and even though Strange hadn€™t been cast at that point a more tangible link to him and his world would€™ve been great to see.

Similarly, he also would€™ve fitted in the much more cosmic Guardians Of The Galaxy. Don€™t get me wrong, Howard the Duck was fantastic, but a brief scene showing another side of the universe and a link to Strange€™s world would€™ve fitted in perfectly. Even with the character not being cast, he has a number of magical artefacts, such as his cloak or orb, that could€™ve appeared in the scene. It would fit in the context of the movie, and help to really sow the seeds of this character and the expanded world.
