8 Post-Credits Scenes Marvel Didn’t Have The Balls To Shoot

1. J Jonah Jameson

Spider-Man is now officially a part of the MCU, and he€™ll be slinging his way into Civil War before shooting off to his own film in 2017. Since it wasn€™t until earlier this year that a rights deal was finally announced, Spidey didn€™t even get so much as a passing mention in the films until Ant-Man.

However, given the anticipation to see the character, there really could have been more of a tease then mentioning a guy who shoots webs. It€™s wise not to introduce the character, because obviously they hadn€™t cast him, and they€™ll want to make a big reveal of the suit, but something that really confirms his existence and connection to the universe in a tangible way would€™ve been doable.

Of course, the best way to do this would€™ve been to have J Jonah Jameson appearing in his office, either at the end of Age of Ultron or Ant-Man. The front page of the Daily Bugle could have a headline about Spider-Man, or something about the Avengers (who Jameson would surely have similar distaste for). Maybe he€™d even yell €˜Parker!€™ Either way, there€™s only one man to play the role. To hell with continuity, J.K. Simmons IS J Jonah Jameson.

Make it happen, Marvel.
