8 Post-Credits Scenes Marvel Didn’t Have The Balls To Shoot
1. J Jonah Jameson
Spider-Man is now officially a part of the MCU, and hell be slinging his way into Civil War before shooting off to his own film in 2017. Since it wasnt until earlier this year that a rights deal was finally announced, Spidey didnt even get so much as a passing mention in the films until Ant-Man.
However, given the anticipation to see the character, there really could have been more of a tease then mentioning a guy who shoots webs. Its wise not to introduce the character, because obviously they hadnt cast him, and theyll want to make a big reveal of the suit, but something that really confirms his existence and connection to the universe in a tangible way wouldve been doable.
Of course, the best way to do this wouldve been to have J Jonah Jameson appearing in his office, either at the end of Age of Ultron or Ant-Man. The front page of the Daily Bugle could have a headline about Spider-Man, or something about the Avengers (who Jameson would surely have similar distaste for). Maybe hed even yell Parker! Either way, theres only one man to play the role. To hell with continuity, J.K. Simmons IS J Jonah Jameson.
Make it happen, Marvel.
