5. Introduce Green Lantern(s)

Having failed to launch a franchise with the Ryan Reynolds starring Green Lantern movie, DC are now set to be taking a different approach with the character. It won't be out until 2020, and no casting has been announced so far, but what we do know is that it'll focus on Green Lantern Corps., rather than just one of the Lanterns. That means that as well as Hal Jordan (who almost certainly won't be played by Reynolds), we'll probably get to see the likes of original Lantern Alan Scott, and one of the most popular iterations of the character, John Stewart. This far the Lanterns seem to have been left out of the Justice League movies, despite the fact you'd expect them to be a prominent part of the team. Having a few of them, or even just one, appear at the end of Justice League Part 1, to warn of a much bigger threat to come, would be a good way of setting up both Part 2 and their own movie as well.
