3. Set Up The Solo Batman/Superman Movies
While the immediate focus is on Batman and Superman appearing together, first in BvS and then as part of Justice League, there are plans for further solo outings for the two biggest characters in comic book history. Not much is known about the 'proper' Man Of Steel sequel, although it is expected around 2020, while the standalone Batman film is reportedly set to be directed by Batfleck himself, who'll also be co-writing with legendary DC writer Geoff Johns. Depending on when these films are scheduled to be released, these teases could come at the end of either Justice League movie (or in the case of Batman something like Suicide Squad) and show just what personal threats they're going to have to deal with, such as setting up a new villain for Superman (or a return of Lex Luthor), and a foe for Batman, or even something like a new Robin.
