8 Potential DC Post-Credits Scenes That Would Rule

2. The Joker

The Joker's role in the DC Extended Universe remains a little bit of a mystery, with the latest theories ranging from that he will only appear in the Harley Quinn scenes of Suicide Squad to that he'll be popping up in Batman V Superman to kill Robin, aka Jason Todd (or will actually be that character himself). Whatever part he ends up playing, you have to assume there are bigger plans for him throughout the upcoming slate of movies, particularly where Batman is concerned. If he doesn't turn up during BvS, which is going to be a pretty crammed film as it is, then having him appear after the credits, for example with a scene of him brutally murdering Todd, would be a good way of setting him up for the Suicide Squad and further appearances. It doesn't end there though. It's becoming abundantly clear that the Joker's important not only to Suicide Squad, but the DCEU as a whole. Even though he may not be the focus of that film, given his prominence - in the marketing, Jared Leto's casting, and his status as the best known comic villain - an appearance after the credits in Suicide Squad or another DC movie wouldn't be too unexpected. It'd be huge in setting up the future of the character, and would perfectly build excitement for him and Batman to face off properly in the standalone film.
