The Lego Movie has some incredible sets coming out in the first half of the year, and they're some of the most imaginative sets seen from the company to date. Around 17 complete sets will be made available, along with a whole new collection of minifigures for collectors to buy. It's all thanks to this new Lego movie coming out, and the designers have really outdone themselves this time round - they've really grabbed the creative versatility of the sets in the film, and it would be silly for any collector to miss out on most of them. Of course, as is similar to the movie, the sets are a wonderful mix of the original City, Wild West and Space themes. More importantly, for the older fans, the retro space set is making a big comeback, with sets like Benny's Spaceship. Numbered LL929, Benny's new and improved spaceship is one number away from the last Space-themed set, which came out way back in 1979. Thanks to LEGO: The Movie, fans will be able to purchase the first ever set to mix licenses. The Super Secret Police Dropship available later this year, features not just Batman, but a Green Ninjago, Emmet and - most importantly - Johnny Thunder. Fans are exuberant at the news of Johnny Thunder returning for the movie and in the sets, as he's an old favourite from the Lego Adventures theme. This will mark his first appearance in a set for at least 11 years.
