8 Reasons Why X-Men Origins: Wolverine Is Underrated
7. Team X
Wolverine's past association with Team X in the comics was always one of the cooler elements of his past, right down to the yellow-and-black jumpsuits and sketchy missions. Seeing a version of the team on the big screen (on an actual mission, no less) is a real treat. Some of the action beats fall a little flat (Agent Zero's little acrobatic bullet-fest is a little too CGI and wirework-obvious for some tastes), but on the whole it's cool to see this many badass, dangerous mutants carry out a covert operation. It was definitely something that hadn't been seen in the X-Universe up to that point. The team's banter on the way to Lagos is also fun to watch, from Wade and Victor almost having a bust-up, to Fred Dukes' tattoo; even Will.i.am gets a chuckle when he offers "Jimmy" a bucket.
