8 Reasons Why X-Men Origins: Wolverine Is Underrated

2. Sabretooth Horrifically Kills John Wraith

Okay, this brutal death scene works on several levels, starting with the fact that it's a joy to see Will.i.am and his disastrous, cardboard acting skills shuffle loose the mortal coil. Beyond that, it's just a cool sequence, with the teleportation effects on John Wraith's abilities especially being cool to look at, as we see a glimpse of his skeleton before the rest of him appears. It's among the best CGI in the film... which isn't really saying much, but it does look pretty awesome. Although the fight is a bit of a cop-out fight as Wraith is a gigantic idiot (you're not going to kill Creed with fists, bro - and why not teleport a little further afield rather than simply in front of, and behind him?), mostly because the scene needs him to be. Still, it sends a chill down the spine to see flashes of Creed's hand wrapped around Wraith's spine. It's a nasty way to go.
