3. Wolverine Could Finally Exhibit Graphic Violence
Does this guy look like he's messing around? If you went into battle with a murderous, rampaging Australian with claws for hands, you'd probably expect a hefty showering of the red stuff to be splattered over every nearby surface. It's an effect that has been suspiciously absent from Wolverine's cinematic outings thus far, and Wolverine 3 should change that. It might sound disturbing to say, but blood would make people happy. Let's see Wolverine butcher some thugs and skewer them like a kebab, Deadpool style. It wouldn't feel out of place, or be there just for the sake of that R. It would absolutely fit the character and stay true to his early solo comic outings, penned by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont. These story-lines portrayed a character that was full of violence and rage, a rash mutant who murdered first and asked questions later. This is the very essence of the character, and it's a viewpoint that Wolverine 3 could finally afford us.
