Let's be honest. There's no chance in hell of Deadpool fitting into the current X-Men movie universe, if his recent film is anything to go by. The only way we'll get more Deadpool is through sequels, or if other franchises evolve enough to be able to include him - and that's where Wolverine comes in. Fox utterly destroyed Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, sealing off the lips of the merc-with-the-mouth and absolutely butchering that incarnation of the character. Luckily for us, Ryan Reynolds was able to bounce back and produce a movie that's extremely fitting of Mr. Pool, almost single-handedly creating a new genre of superhero films in the process. Sadly, that genre is very much adults-only, and any integration with other X-Men characters would be a hard feat to pull off. The Wolverine/Deadpool dynamic from X-Men Origins needs some form of redemption, and the only way that can happen - with the current version of Deadpool - is with an R rating. All those F-bombs, sex references and violent kills are part of his character, and simply wouldn't fit in a 12a film. On top of this, audiences love Deadpool and he's proven he can make money, which can only help Wolvie's third adventure. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have a pre-established off screen rapport, meaning the film will all but market itself. It's a no-brainer, and it's easy to see the studio green-lighting a script that featured the two.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
