8 Ridiculous Gaps Between Film Sequels And Were They Worth It?

Jurassic World (2015) - 14 Years

Jurassic World For the first of future sequels with long gaps... None of the sequels have been anything more than fun and that's about it, and not much else. After Jurassic Park dealt with the complicated themes of science and at what point does use become abuse, its two sequels appeared to aim at just letting dinosaurs run around eating people. The fourth installment has been at the works for years with numerous story lines that would make one shiver with horror. Everything from dinosaurs with guns to dinosaur DNA mixed with humans. Who knows how many of those are true but let's pray they are only the ravings of mad men. With Jurassic World announced (a title that just sounds odd to say) we have hope of the movie actually happening. As much aversion as we have to the sequels, no one can deny wanting to see this happen. 14 years seems long enough to have the filmmakers get a grasp on logic and take this franchise back to its roots. If this one turns out good then the wait would be worth it.
