8 Ridiculously Awesome Movie Crossovers (That Could Actually Happen)

5. Men In Black And Jump Street

22 Jump Street may have ran through the franchise's future all the way to 2121, but there's one thing in amongst the recasting and kid-aimed merchandising it missed - the Men In Black crossover. One of the more "woah, they'll really do anything" things to come out of the Sony email hacks, this is 100% something that has been talked about by studios. Yeah, seriously. Once the initial "huh" is over, however, it's hard to not get a little bit excited by the concept that makes two series facing stagnation feel original again. Men In Black is a fun idea, but the franchise never really delivered on the promise of the first film and a straight up reboot would likely skew too close to the central J and K relationship. And, given that the self-aware joke is unlikely to support a third film (and 23 Jump Street is, in a laughably meta development, on the way), this is a way to make more adventures without forcing Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum to tread comedic water. If Sony could convince Phil Lord and Christopher Miller to keep on the series, this idea could lead to something genuinely brilliant that bizarrely ends up being like the next logical step for Schmidt and Jenko.
