8 Summer 2015 Films That Could Win Oscars

What It Could Win: Best Animated Feature Film You€™ll be hard pressed to find any animation film since Up that would come close to being as good as this. Another Cannes hit, Inside Out is facing zero competition as we gear up for the award season with Pixar€™s yet to be released The Good Dinosaur most likely being its only competition. The film is bold, genuine, funny and heartbreakingly sad. From start to finish, the film showcased our minds and emotions in a sophisticated yet touching way, tackling taboo subjects like anxiety and depression that some of the biggest Oscar baiting films couldn€™t come close to replicating - giving children a symbolic language to help them understand and comprehend their own emotions Bookies are closed on this one €“ there probably isn€™t a point of even nominating another film. Dark Horse Nominations: Best Picture Not only could Inside Out become the fourth animated feature to be nominated for Best Picture €“ a feat only achieved by Disney & Pixar - but it could well become the first animation to win it. As good as Fury Road was, Inside Out is the best film released in 2015 - this moving, inventive and gorgeous animated feature should be amongst the elite when the nominations are announced. Whether the Academy would be willing to think outside the box for a change is another matter entirely, but you can€™t ignore that Inside Out should join Mad Max: Fury Road as a dark horse for Best Picture. The nomination would be a huge victory in itself for the studio, but you can't help but wonder what if?
