1. Adam Sandler
The Five Awful Movies: Grown Ups, Just Go With It, Jack & Jill, That's My Boy, Hotel Transylvania I've always wondered how Adam Sandler feels about his career, given how God-awful his filmography looks when you scan through all the movies that he's done over the past decade or so. Fact is, I thought Sandler was going to make something of a turnaround with Judd Apatow's
Funny People, which seemed like an apology vehicle of sorts for the actor, and one that consciously spoofed his tendency to make awful movies in the wake of
Punch-Drunk Love. Nope. After
Funny People, Sandler went on a "bad movie" binge - a binge that is yet to be rectified, given that his next feature is
Grown Ups 2. Just when we thought that
Grown Ups was probably the worst movie that the actor has ever made, along comes another one. And I've woken up in cold sweats remembering the embarrassing "comedies" that Sandler has treated us to recently:
Jack & Jill, That's My Boy, Just Go With It. Usually I wouldn't recommend that somebody retires for good, but Adam Sandler: please retire for good.
